West Divers is Puerto Rico’s Premier Wall Diving Experience. So come on, jump in and dive with us at La Parguera’s Famous Wall, but we are not limited to La Parguera, we also dive in front of Playa Santa, Guánica and close to the Light House in Cabo Rojo. We dive different dive sites every day, there are 40 dive sites to choose from, so you can dive for two weeks and not repeat a dive site. Just 5 miles of the coast of Lajas and with various diving spots (The Engine, Black Wall, Old Buoy, VJ Levels, Steps, Two for You, Fallen Rock, just to name a few) & our new spot Mermaid Point. It’s a well worth diving experience. Our superb staff, great local knowledge, overwhelming service and top-notch equipment will get you coming back year after year.  Why Escape to La Parguera in Lajas?

Lajas is located in southwestern region, south of San Germán and Sabana Grande; east of Cabo Rojo; and west of Guánica. South of semi-arid farmland in the Lajas Valley, the fishing village of "La Parguera" is a small village that it is oriented for the tourist and our local visitors that want to enjoy the uniqueness of the town. It has developed onto a popular resort center while maintaining much of its small town atmosphere. Guest houses and inns, seafood restaurants, water sports and boating centers and small shops fan out from the small plaza. In the evening, boats leave regularly for nearby Phosphorescent Bay, where millions of luminescent dinoflagellates light up when disturbed by movement; moonless nights are best. Numerous mangrove cays and islets form ornate channels places. Bathers and picnickers visit Caracoles or Mata de la Gata Cay. Snorkelers and scuba divers explore nearby reefs and spectacular outer shelf walls that lie up to seven miles offshore. On weekends the town becomes more bustling. Located in the southwest of the island, it is by far the most visited tourist place in the area.  It also has some of the Premier attractions in Puerto Rico: World Class Diving, a Nature Reserve, and a Bioluminescent Bay (unique).  Combining all of that and the best wall diving in the Caribbean, The Wall in La Parguera is not to be missed by the serious divers.

Why dive the Wall in La Parguera?

Several miles off shore of La Parguera town, the continental shelf drops off, forming the famous La Parguera Wall. The Wall offers some of the most spectacular diving in the Caribbean. The Wall is closest to the island of Puerto Rico at the Village of La Parguera, but we also dive The Wall in Playa Santa, Guánica, with more than 30 dive sites.

The La Parguera Wall begins at 55 to 65 feet and drops vertically to 130 feet or so before dropping down again to a thousand feet to the sea floor. The Wall is home to trenches and Elkhorn Coral, deep water, gorgonians, black coral and many more. Thousands of rainbow-colored fish move over the reefs and through the spectacular azure blue waters. This underwater photographer’s heaven has visibility that exceeds 100 feet.
