 Why Escape to La Parguera?

Located in the southwest of the island, it is by far the most visited tourist place in the area.  It is a small village that it is oriented for the tourist and our local visitors that want to enjoy the uniqueness of the town.  It also has some of the Premier attractions in Puerto Rico: World Class Diving, a Nature Reserve, and a Bioluminescent Bay (unique).  Combining all of that and the best wall diving in the Caribbean, The Wall in La Parguera is not to be missed by the serious divers.

Why dive the Wall in La Parguera?

Several miles off shore of La Parguera town, the continental shelf drops off, forming the famous La Parguera Wall. The Wall offers some of the most spectacular diving in the Caribbean. The Wall is closest to the island of Puerto Rico at the Village of La Parguera, with more than 30 dive sites.

The La Parguera Wall begins at 55 to 65 feet and drops vertically to 130 feet or so before dropping down again to a thousand feet to the sea floor. The Wall is home to trenches and Elkhorn Coral, deep water, gorgonians, black coral and many more. Thousands of rainbow-colored fish move over the reefs and through the spectacular azure blue waters. This underwater photographer’s heaven has visibility that exceeds 100 feet.
